Simultaneous translation
It is performed with or without the aid of equipment. Interpretation is not exactly simultaneous, but, unlike consecutive, the interval between speech and interpretation (décalage) is so small (few words) that this mode was qualified as simultaneous. Allows the speaker's speech and interpretation to close at almost the same time, positively reflecting the duration of the event .

Como a interpretação remota é uma atividade que exige concentração extrema e gera grande desgaste, os intérpretes trabalham sempre em dupla. Somente trabalhos com duração máxima de uma hora permitem a execução por um único intérprete. Da mesma forma e de acordo com as boas práticas elaboradas para a redução dos riscos inerentes a qualquer tipo de prestação de serviços e para garantir a disponibilidade da equipe, para além de 1 hora, recomenda-se a contratação mínima de 3 horas.
Consecutive Translation
It is performed after the interpreter has listened to one or a few periods of the speaker's speech. Also called sentence-by-sentence or ping-pong interpretation. It is a more dynamic way that allows greater interaction between the speaker and the target audience of his speech. Mode used in conference calls, meetings or training sessions with a small audience.
